About This Program
The Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) program provides point-of-sale incentives of up to $5,000 for eligible battery-electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and longer-range plug-in hybrid vehicles. Several provinces offer additional stacking rebates.
Eligibility Requirements
- 1Vehicle must be on the eligible vehicles list
- 2Must be purchased or leased (minimum 48-month lease)
- 3Base MSRP must be below $55,000 (or $60,000 for larger vehicles)
- 4Available to individuals and businesses
How to Apply
- 1Check eligible vehicles list on Transport Canada website
- 2Purchase or lease from a registered dealer
- 3Dealer applies the incentive at point of sale
- 4Incentive is deducted from purchase price immediately
